Each gun has a dedicated microchip, and individual radio transmitter which sends information to the control module, to accurately score hits and display the results on a large integral scoreboard. Whenever the trigger is pulled, the Lasersport control module/scoreboard generates a realistic shotgun ‘Bang’ and when a player successfully hits a target (clay pigeon) it reproduces the sound of a breaking clay.
An indicator on the shotgun instantly tells the player whether the target was hit or missed, and players/spectators can see the score of each competitor on the large electronic scoreboard.
In each round of lasersport up to 5 people can compete at the same time, shooting at the targets launched from a number of different positions at various speeds and angles.
Several games, some easier than others, can be played, with points scored when targets are hit, giving an overall winner at the end of the competition. |
